This combines LEC Billing and Clearing with Triton’s direct billing capabilities. While Offnet LECs (i.e., those who do not offer billing & collection services) have existed for as long as LEC billing has been around, their impact has increased over recent years with the advent of Competitive LECs (CLECs). CLECs typically do not provide billing and collection services - meaning their end-users cannot be LEC billed for casual usage (0+/-, 10-10 access, 900 etc.) and presubscribed usage. As CLECs have expanded their market penetration, the volume of unbillables has grown in step.

Triton’s Offnet direct billing (Revenue Recovery) solves this problem. Revenue Recovery links Triton’s Direct Billing system to LEC billing by invoicing end-users for these Offnet call records. Triton obtains name and address account information for offnet end-users, taxes the messages, and prepares and mails the invoice.

As payments are received, the remittance is appropriately recorded. Triton manages the entire process on your behalf and provides comprehensive information to enable you to monitor and report upon performance
